Joseph K. Eng, OD and Esther H. Tan, OD

Welcome to the S. Eastern Road Walmart in Las Vegas and the optometry office of Dr. Joseph K. Eng and Dr. Esther H. Tan. With over 40 years of combined eye care experience, our goal is to provide excellent eye care service and top-notch vision care to our patients. In our office, we offer comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses exams and fittings, specialty lenses, ocular disease evaluations, treatment for eye infections and inflammations, treatment for dry or allergic eyes, and cataract evaluation. Dr. Eng and Dr. Tan are both trained and experienced in screening/diagnosing ocular diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and cataracts. We welcome adults and children of all ages. We also respond to emergency visits.

For you convenience, we are open six days a week and walk-ins are welcome. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Debit credit cards. We also accept many insurance plans. Below is a partial list of some of the plans we accept.

Meet Our Staff

JOSEPH K. ENG, OD

Dr. Joseph K. Eng received his OD degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. He previously had two articles published in the Journal of American Optometric Association. Dr. Eng has over 20 years of experience in the optical field, 7 of which he spent working in naval hospitals as a Navy Optometrist. He has been at this practice for 9 years.

ESTHER H. TAN, OD

Dr. Esther H. Tan received her OD (Doctor of Optometry) degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2000. She is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In addition to quality vision and patient care, Dr. Tan specializes in astigmatism, multifocal contact lenses examinations, dry eye syndrome, and treatment and management of eye infections, inflammations, and allergies. She has over 20 years of experience and has examined patients 3 years old to 103 years old! She is also able to do eye exams in Spanish. In her spare time, Dr. Tan enjoys tennis, yoga, and karaoke.
